When it comes to fast, healthy breakfast options, it's hard to beat overnight oats. They are packed with fibre and protein content. They also contain a number of vitamins and minerals, some of which include manganese, phosphorus, magnesium, copper, iron and zinc!
Overnight oats can be prepared on Sunday night and can last up until Friday that week! They are great prepped breakfasts and on-the-go food leaving you full until lunchtime!
Ingredients:
1/2 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup chopped berries + more for serving
1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
1 teaspoon maple syrup or honey
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 scoop protein powder
Top with whatever suits you! I prefer, peanut butter, granola and microwaved berries!
Method:
All in one method, place ingredients into a bowl and mix together
Leave in the fridge overnight or for at least 2 hours
